Development of machine learning algorithm for predicting early diagnosis, disease progression, and nonresponse to conventional treatment in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD)

This multinational research project aims to leverage the power of machine learning methods to create and evaluate
algorithms to accelerate early diagnosis of inflammatory bowel disease, to estimate the risk of IBD progression, and to
identify non-responders to conventional therapies in the management of IBD. The Finnish data will be used on a local
scale to investigate the feasibility of the use of anonymized data as compared to pseudonymized data for meeting the
objectives on a global scale.
