The aim of this study is to analyse drug prescription patterns in Finland and investigate factors that associate and interact with these patterns, and with subsequent health outcomes of patients. This is a nationwide cohort study linking data from multiple Finnish health registers. We include all individuals alive and residing in Finland on 01-01-2000 as well as individuals born after the inclusion date.
