We study how women’s fertility timing and parity progression respond to (i) career incentives, (ii) pregnancy- and childbirth-related health shocks, and (iii) social spillovers among siblings and coworkers. Health register data are needed to measure fertility complications, infertility and fertility treatments, postpartum mental health, and child health at/around and after birth.
