The TEHDAS2 joint action, coordinated by Sitra, is collecting comments on ten documents that prepare for the implementation of the European Health Data Space (EHDS).
TEHDAS2 develops practical guidelines and technical specifications for the cross-border use of health data in Europe. The project involves 29 countries and aims to support the establishment of the EHDS.
The public consultation covers ten documents addressing, among other things:
- permit processes
- data pseudonymisation
- restrictions on secondary use of data
- technical solutions.
These documents will serve as the basis for implementing acts of the EHDS Regulation, which will govern the use of health data across the EU.
Findata has led the preparation of document D6.3 Guideline for Health Data Access Bodies on the procedures and formats for data access. The document focuses on the role of HDABs and describes the application and data handling processes for which HDABs are responsible under the EHDS.
The consultation is open until 30 November 2025. Citizens, professionals and authorities are invited to comment on the documents on the TEHDAS2 project website.
