How to return data from the data storage service to another processing environment

Data can be transferred from the storage service to another secure processing environment (SPE), provided that the following conditions are met:

• The SPE must be audited and registered in the Valvira Astori registry (valvira.fi).
• The data permit must specify the relevant SPE.

Please note: Once the data is transferred to another SPE, it cannot be returned to the Kapseli data storage service.

How to order the data transfer

1. Go to the e-service.
2. Select the form: Order or update of the Kapseli operating environment or data storage service.
3. In response to the question “What does your order concern?”, choose: I wish to update my current data storage service.
4. In response to the question “How would you like to change your current order?”, choose: I want to terminate the data storage service and transfer the data to Kapseli or another operating environment.
5. Complete the form by following the instructions.

Submit the return request at least one month before the desired return date.
