Findata’s Tunneli data transfer service and the Portti tool in Kapseli are temporarily unavailable since 1:45 p.m. on 21 October 2026. The service interruption is due to urgent security updates following the discovery of critical vulnerabilities in the PHP programming language.
The interruption is expected to continue at least until the end of tomorrow’s scheduled maintenance break, at 3:00 p.m. on 22 October. We will provide an update on the schedule tomorrow, 22 October, at 2:30 p.m. at findata.fi/disruptions.
During the interruption:
- You cannot log in to Tunneli or transfer files through the service.
- You cannot use the Portti tool to submit results to Findata for anonymity verification, and Findata cannot deliver results to customers.
- If a transfer has been interrupted due to the service interruption, it must be restarted once the service is available again.
The Kapseli environments are operating normally. No action is required from customers.
The temporary service interruption is not due to the vulnerabilities having been exploited or to any security breach affecting the services. The purpose of the interruption is to protect the services against potential risks.
We apologise for the service interruption.
