Delays in data processing and ensuring the anonymity of the results

Recently there have been disturbances in Findata’s Kapseli operating environments and e-service. Service provider CSC investigates the root causes of malfunctions and makes repairs together with its partners with a high priority.

Due to disturbances in Kapseli operating environments, some of Kapseli’s network drives are not visible to users. The problem only affects the visibility of the drives. There are also backups of the files on the drives.

“The network drives can be brought back in view by logging out of the Kapseli by clicking ‘Sign out’ and logging back in. However, based on the current information, the problem may reappear,” says director Ilkka Lappalainen from CSC.

If re-login doesn’t help, please send an email to kapseli@findata.fi and state the Kapseli ID, e.g. A01.

“Disturbances in network drives also cause delays in data processing and ensuring the anonymity of results in Findata. We try to minimize them by all means, but delays are unfortunately to be expected,” says Findata’s senior expert Hanna Tervonen.

Outage in Findata’s services March 3–6

Next weekend, Friday 3.3. at 17:00 and Monday 6.3. between 8:00 a.m. and all Findata’s services will be out of service due to the renovation of the virtualization platform.

During the outage, Findata’s transaction service, Kapseli and transfer service Nextcloud will not be available.

“Of course, we hope that the problems could be fixed during the outage. We apologize for the inconvenience and delay caused by the disruptions,” says Tervonen.
