The study aims to utilize longitudinal administrative registries from multiple countries to identify patients with Epstein-Barr virus related infections mononucleosis (EBV-IM) to study the induced risk of malignancy and multiple sclerosis (MS) onset.
Additional variables are needed to calculate baseline characteristics, stratify by age, and adjust regression models. Migration data is needed for censoring and to identify controls who are not living in Finland at the time of index.
