More than a thousand applications – social and health data have been applied from Findata already 1,008 times

At the end of last week, we received the 1,000th permit application of all time. Currently, we have received a total of 1,008 applications.

The number has been accumulated since the start of Findata’s operations in April 2020. In the same period, a total of 868 authority decisions have been made on applications.

Application and decision statistics to be renewed

With the achievement of the milestone, we are renewing the application and decision statistics.

“We want to offer more up-to-date information to our clients and stakeholders. Starting next week, the website will be updated with the current year’s application and decision statistics, as well as a comparison with the previous year. Next, we plan to provide an automatically updated view of average processing and data collection times,” says Antti Piirainen, Findata’s Head of Communications.

This year, a total of 107 applications have been received, of which 87 were data permit applications and 20 were requests for statistical level data. 146 decisions have been made, of which 111 are positive and 35 are lapsed.

In 2022, a total of 270 applications were received. Of these, there were 253 data permit applications and 17 requests for statistical data. Last year, 283 decisions were made, of which 233 were positive and 50 lapsed. More information about the activities can be found in our Annual Report.
