To our knowledge there is no recently published data on incidence and prevalence for Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD), Becker dystrophy (BMD), and other MDs, respectively, in Finland. Therefore, we would like to order data, as recent as possible, describing the patient population size, including both incidence and prevalence rates as well as treating hospitals. This assessment is a crucial preparatory step for designing an upcoming real-world evidence study.
