This research project will explore the impact of glucose-lowering medications on patients with and without chronic kidney disease (CKD) using Finnish healthcare registry data. The study will focus on demographic influences and pre-existing conditions affecting treatment outcomes with SGLT2 inhibitors and GLP-1RAs. By correlating drug purchase records with clinical lab values and healthcare data, we aim to assess kidney function response and identify risk factors for suboptimal treatment effects.
