This a nationwide register-based case control study investigating the various risk factors for the development of brain tumors in children (For example, medical radiation exposure). These tumors are the leading cause of cancer-related death in children. We have obtained data from various national registers such a the Finnish Cancer Registry and DVV, with the purpose of comparing cases and controls and estimating cancer risk after accounting for potential confounders and biases.
