FinRegistry ready-made dataset
Findata’s ready-made dataset FinRegistry is derived from the FinRegistry research project. The ready-made dataset holds register data along with generated research data.
FinRegistry is a large-scale register-based research project led by the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (THL) and the Institute for Molecular Medicine Finland (FIMM) at the University of Helsinki. It combines nationwide register data to support the development of machine learning models aimed at understanding and predicting the onset of diseases across the Finnish population.
The FinRegistry ready-made dataset includes information from the following sources:
In total, the dataset contains material from more than 20 individual data sources, with records spanning several decades.
Findata’s ready-made datasets are pre-compiled and pre-processed collections that are available more quickly than traditional datasets. They eliminate the need for separate cost estimates or extraction fees from individual data holders. Findata acts as the data holder for all ready-made datasets.
