Apply for this amendment when you want to transfer your data to another secure processing environment. The new environment must be listed in the Astori register maintained by the Finnish Supervisory Agency. If you want to move the data to an environment other than a secure processing environment under the Secondary Use Act, you need a new data permit.
Transferring data from one processing environment to another is subject to a fee. The fee consists of a basic fee and an additional fee for each zip folder transferred. The transfer fee is charged in addition to the decision fee for the amendment permit.
If you are moving from Kapseli to another environment, also update your Kapseli order.
Statistics Finland data and the FIONA environment
If the data is moved to the FIONA environment because it will be combined with data disclosed by Statistics Finland in its role as a statistical authority, select the amendment “Combining data with a prior permit to data with a Findata permit”. In this case, you do not need to apply separately for a change to the processing environment.
If the data is moved to FIONA for another reason and is not combined with Statistics Finland data, select the amendment “Change to the processing environment of personal data”.
